Get Involved

There are many ways to get involved and bring a positive impact to the immigrant community. One way is to volunteer for organizations. Here are some listed below:

ACLU COLORADO:

ACLU is a civil rights organization that focuses on the rights of immigrants and the rights of several other communities. If you are older and are looking for something legal to do, ACLU is a great option. They help immigrants through the legal parts such as knowing their rights and filling out citizenship forms.

CIRC:

The Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition is an organization like ACLU. They also help with citizenship forms and rights. The CIRC also works on lots of legal cases fighting against the Aurora Detention Center and its private operator GEO.

Casa de Paz:

Casa de Paz is a more emotional take on immigration reform. They focus on reuniting families who were split up by detention by helping released detainees find their way back home. They offer a wide variety of options that you can take part in based on what suits you best.
